‘Incredible’ – Sky Sports pundit makes horrible predicts score of Leeds Championship clash v Millwall

Leeds United will face Millwall in the Championship on Sunday at Elland Road, and David Prutton has made a prediction for Sky Sports.

After defeating Sheffield Wednesday 2-0, the Whites face another tough test against an informed team.

Leeds are the only Championship team that has been unbeaten at home thus far, and they have been fantastic in 2024, winning 12 of their last 13 games with the other being a tie.

They face Millwall, who are full of confidence after winning three and drawing their last four Championship games.

Leicester City were once 12 points ahead, but Leeds have already cut the gap to three points, and a win tonight might propel them to the top of the table, with Leicester City in FA Cup play this week.

In his latest EFL predictions piece for Sky Sports, Prutton predicts a ‘feisty’ game that will be close. He predicts a 2-1 win for Leeds.

Prutton believes Leeds United’s winning streak will continue.
“Leeds United can move top of the Championship standings here, which is astonishing given how far they’ve reduced the gap on Leicester, who play in the FA Cup this weekend. “A win by two or more goals sends them to the summit,” Prutton stated.

“But they’re up against a Millwall side that’s resurgent under Neil Harris, having picked up 10 points out of 12. This is always a competitive match, and I believe it will be close. “But Leeds should have enough.”

Leeds won the reverse encounter 3-0, but given Millwall’s current form, this might be a close contest. Furthermore, these two teams have a long history of rivalry, so spectators should expect a competitive game.

The Whites have looked untouchable at Elland Road this season, but anything less than three points will be considered a disappointment. The fight for automatic promotion is currently very tight, with Ipswich Town lying third in the table, one point behind Leeds, therefore the top three teams cannot afford to lose many points.
