An Open Letter to the Detroit Lions and Their Fans

Dear Detroit Lions and Lions Fans,

As I sit down to write this letter, my heart swells with pride and gratitude for the opportunity to have been a part of this incredible organization. To the players, coaches, staff, and the loyal fans who have supported this team through thick and thin, I want to thank you for everything.

The Detroit Lions have always been a symbol of grit, resilience, and determination, and during my time as head coach, it was a privilege to see those qualities in action each and every day. We faced challenges, no doubt, but we also experienced moments of triumph that showed the world what this team is truly capable of. I’ve witnessed firsthand the unwavering commitment of the players, the passion of the coaching staff, and the relentless energy that you, the fans, bring to every game.

To the fans: your support means more than words can express. Whether we were playing at Ford Field or on the road, your presence—whether in the stadium, watching from home, or cheering us on from afar—was felt. You are the heartbeat of this team. Your loyalty, your dedication, and your relentless belief in us, even when the road got tough, made every victory sweeter and every loss easier to bear.

I leave with fond memories and deep respect for this team and city. The Lions have a bright future ahead, and I know that under new leadership, this team will continue to strive for greatness. To the players, the coaches, and all of you who wear the Honolulu blue and silver with pride, keep pushing, keep believing, and keep fighting.

Thank you, Detroit. Once a Lion, always a Lion.

With gratitude and respect,
[Former Head Coach Name]
