Alvin Kamara expressed his humble gratitude: “My appreciation goes to my team owner, Gayle Benson, the New Orleans Saints’ CEO, and to my lovely fans. For your love and support, I have decided to make a lasting impact in this community that has given me so much. From the moment I arrived in New Orleans, you welcomed me with open arms, and I’ve always felt like a part of this incredible family. This city and its people have shown me unwavering loyalty, and I can’t express enough how much that means to me.
Over the years, my journey has been filled with ups and downs, but it’s the support from the fans, the guidance of my teammates, and the leadership of our owner that have helped me stay grounded and focused. Gayle Benson has been a pillar of strength for the Saints organization, and her commitment to excellence has always inspired me to be my best, both on and off the field.
As a small token of my appreciation, I’m proud to announce that I’ll be contributing to local youth programs, providing resources and opportunities for the next generation of athletes and leaders in New Orleans. Whether it’s through mentorship, funding for athletic programs, or simply being present in the community, I want to give back in meaningful ways. You’ve all been so good to me, and I want to do my part in ensuring that the love and support you’ve shown me is passed on to others.
I’m incredibly grateful for everything this city and its people have given me, and I promise to continue giving my all to this organization and this community. Thank you for everything.”
