Marc Marquez We need to compete for the title next year due to…

Marc Marquez says he won’t settle for anything less than competing for the title in 2025 now that he has the “best bike” in MotoGP.As Francesco Bagnaia’s  teammate, the eight-time world champion will be thrust back into the factory limelight after quitting Repsol Honda and falling to satellite status with Gresini Ducati this season.

There isn’t a motorbike that is quicker right now. In an interview with AS, Marquez stated that Ducati had placed first four in the previous race. We need to compete for the title next year,” he continued. “I made a difficult but necessary decision to leave Repsol Honda, the team I have spent my entire life with. I did this by putting my career first and aiming for success.”

Marquez was chosen by Ducati ahead of Pramac’s world championship leader Jorge Martin, which forced the younger Spaniard to switch to Aprilia. On the eve before the Mugello weekend, the #93 ruined any chance of keeping both, by shifting Marquez to the factory bike at Pramac and putting Martin beside Bagnaia.

“I have said it in this manner during our initial discussions with Ducati. Marquez stated, “I didn’t want to switch from one satellite team—Gresini—to another satellite team—Pramac.”Marquez, however, was willing to think about staying at Gresini, where he now rides a year-old GP23, if he was upgraded to a factory-spec bike.
