Marc Marquez’s update on injured arm as 2024 MotoGP season opener looms
Regarding his problematic arm, which had earlier raised the possibility of his retirement, Marc Marquez has provided an update.
This year, Marquez switched teams from Repsol Honda to Gresini Ducati, which has given the six-time MotoGP champion fresh hope.
However, a persistent physical problem resulting from a fracture he sustained in Jerez four years ago is a constant reminder of his limits.
He told DAZN, “It is an arm with four operations that requires more maintenance than the other, as I have always said, and I am not lying.”

After his fourth arm operation in 2022, Marquez was forced to think about retiring.
