The 2022 season presented challenges for the Patriots’ offense, which saw a decline in performance, averaging 18.1 points per game. In 2023, Patricia expanded his coaching horizons by joining the Philadelphia Eagles as a senior defensive assistant. Later in the season, he assumed defensive play-calling duties. Patricia’s contract with the Eagles expired at the end of that season.
