Pedro Neto may face competition from Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal this summer for his talents.

For years, the Wolverhampton Wanderers winger has been strongly connected to the Gunners; nevertheless, it appears that Spurs have also put their name in the hat.

The Sun claims that Tottenham is among the teams interested in Neto, who is seen to be the most likely to depart Wolves in order to raise money for their summer endeavors.

The tabloid further stated that the Portuguese international, who is playing at his peak for the Molineux team, has long been admired by Arsenal.

At the end of the current campaign, Neto appears “certain” to be sold, with Wolves likely to seek a price of between £60 and £70 million.

Arsenal and Tottenham are the targets. Arsene Wenger had Pedro Neto on his radar.
The competition between Tottenham and Arsenal for the 23-year-old’s services will be interesting to watch as their rivalry moves from the field to the marketplace.

Furthermore, if Spurs prevailed in the contest, it would be a difficult pill to chew for the Gunners, given how long they have reportedly been pursuing Neto.

When Neto was still a young player, Arsene Wenger allegedly wanted to sign him for Arsenal.

When the midfielder was still at Braga, the great Gunners manager reportedly had his sights set on him, according to a 2017 Mirror article.

After a spell at Lazio, the “incredible” talent was bought by Wolves two years later, and he went on to become a Premier League sensation.

Now, may Arsenal finally make it there, or will Spurs win the race, with the Molineux team supposedly eager to cash in on him to be on the right side of FFP?
