BREAKING NEWS: F1 issues statement on Christian Horner investigation as he announces retirement date.

On Sunday evening, F1 released a statement stating that they have “noted” the ongoing inquiry into Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner.

Horner is currently being investigated after a female team member filed a complaint against him for inappropriate behaviour. The Red Bull boss is under investigation by Red Bull GmbH, the parent company of Red Bull Racing, although he remains in command of the F1 team and attended the recent introduction of their 2024 car.

He has refuted all of the charges and stated that the pending inquiry has not hampered the team’s preparations for the forthcoming season.

F1 hopes that the investigation will be completed properly and quickly, but the sport insists that it is not in a position to comment on the topic.

F1 stated, “We have noted that Red Bull has launched an independent inquiry into internal charges at Red Bull Racing. We expect that the problem will be cleared as soon as possible, following a fair and comprehensive procedure, and will make no more comments at this time.”
