Sad news for Steelers As QB Justin Fields Sustain a Neck injury and Doctor Report Reveals He Wouldn’t perform for a year

In the quarterback race, most people think Russell Wilson had an advantage, and even head coach Mike Tomlin gave the impression that Wilson had the job to lose.

However, David Carr, a former NFL quarterback, isn’t so sure.

The former athlete who is now an analyst projected that Fields will start at center field in Week 1 on NFL Total Access.

“In Atlanta, he was intended to execute this Arthur Smith offense…By Week 1, Justin Fields will be the starting quarterback, according to Carr.

He said that this scheme was designed just for him and his dual-threat skill set, noting that Arthur Smith was meant to use this same offense when serving as the Atlanta Falcons’ head coach.

Carr also complimented Omar Khan and the Steelers front office for their ability to execute these maneuvers and secure these players at a reduced price, particularly in light of the pressing need to strengthen the quarterback room.

To be honest, it would make sense if Fields got the start instead of Wilson for the Steelers.

First of all, they will only have a year to decide on his future because he will be able to sign a contract extension during the offseason of the following year.

However, at this stage of his career, he is also younger and has more promise.

They already know what to expect from Wilson, of course, and it’s not like he’s not a player anymore.

However, Fields would be a better fit for them if they’re taking a broad approach and want to think about their future in addition to how well they mesh with their new offensive coordinator.
