Following Doctors report TCU QB Josh Hoover will no longer play again due to His Injury

Amidst the excitement surrounding NCAA March Madness, a number of stories broke on Monday afternoon indicating that Josh Hoover, a redshirt freshman quarterback for TCU football, will miss spring camp because of an injury. According to Steven Johnson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Hoover anticipates being fully recovered by the time summer practices begin.

After taking over as TCU’s primary signal caller the previous season, Hoover threw for 2,206 yards, 15 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. After three seasons with the Horned Frogs, Chandler Morris transferred to North Texas, and Hoover took his position.

With Hoover out of the picture, quarterbacks Ken Seals, a former starter at Vanderbilt, and Hauss Hejny, a four-star prospect from Aledo, will get more reps. Spring camp at TCU starts on March 23 and lasts until the end of April.
