Rob McNamara provides clarity on Tiger Woods ‘illness’ leading to withdrawal, paramedic presence as a result of.

Following his withdrawal on Friday, Rob McNamara, Tiger Woods’ longstanding business partner, who caddied for him at this week’s Genesis Invitational, gave an update. After Woods withdrew from the event citing a “illness,” paramedics showed up at Riviera Country Club.

According to McNamara, Woods felt unwell on Thursday night and began experiencing lightheadedness on Friday afternoon while out on the course. He was dehydrated, according to the doctors, and even though they gave him an IV, he didn’t wind up needing an ambulance to leave.
