Hal Steinbrenner, the 54-year-old owner of the New York Yankees, has made the decision to sell the team in order to replace him with the best candidate.

Hal’s nephew Steve Swindal Jr. is the late George Steinbrenner’s grandson and the assistant director of player development for the Yankees at the moment. Having been a part of the family business since he was a teenager, he is today seen both inside and outside the team as the heir to his uncle’s throne.

Hal’s nephew and late George Steinbrenner’s grandson, Steve Swindal Jr., is the assistant director of player development for the Yankees at the moment.
