Richarlison has called rumors that he is dissatisfied at Tottenham “fake news” and insisted that he will continue to compete in the Premier League the next year.
Richarlison, who scored just one goal in his debut season with Spurs in 2022–23, had a much better season in 2023–24, tallying 11 goals in the Premier League.
Unfortunately, injuries kept the Brazil international from having a successful season, and rumors have it that Spurs are looking to add another attacker.
In addition, they have decided to bring Timo Werner back from RB Leipzig for another season-long loan with the intention of making the move permanent.
Ange Postecoglou wants to leave his mark on the team, and some had speculated that Richarlison may suffer from an overhaul. However, the former Everton player insists he is staying put.
“I gave up my vacation and came to work in Sao Paulo so I could return well and ready for the next season,” Richarlison stated in a post to X.
“Everything that has been surfacing in the local media regarding talks is false information, and I have never stated that I am unhappy at my club.
“I’m not sure where they found that! Next season, I’m not going to leave England!”
