Christian Horner hits back at claims of a rift with star driver Max Verstappen and his dad over ‘inappropriate behaviour’ investigation, as pressure builds on Geri Halliwell’s Red Bull chief husband despite his denials

Under fire Red Bull CEO Christian Horner has refuted rumors that he and Max Verstappen had a falling out while he was being investigated for allegedly acting in an unethical manner.

Husband of former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, Horner is battling to keep his job afloat following the accusations, which came from a female Red Bull colleague.

He refutes every accusation and presented his case to KC, the team’s internal investigator, last week. The team is the current world champions.

Additionally, Horner refuted rumors of conflict with three-time world champion Verstappen and denied any wrongdoing on Thursday during the introduction of Red Bull’s new vehicle for the 2024 campaign.

“No, there isn’t any friction at all,” Red Bull’s CEO and Team Principal stated to Sky Sports News. A few days ago, Jos and Max and I visited Silverstone.

Max is totally committed to his work. He’s been really encouraging, and I’m excited for our upcoming season together.

Though rumors will inevitably surface, we are a cohesive team; that is who we have been and will always be.

After winning the world championship for three straight seasons, Verstappen repeated Horner’s remarks when he stated that their relationship was “like normal.”

“It’s (our relationship) very good,” he continued. We’ve had a few encounters; I’ve been on the simulator, and he was present when we were filming.

“We have accomplished a great deal together, so don’t expect that to change overnight.”

Since Red Bull’s founding in 2005, Horner has overseen the company. He also disclosed that he has been working every day in the company’s facility since early January and that he would be there
