BOLO: California Girl Mysteriously Vanishes During Bike Ride to Aunt’s House

A teen from Monterey Park, California, was last seen on Tuesday riding her bike to her aunt’s house, but she never arrived.

According to ABC 7, Alison Jillian Chao, 15, was captured on surveillance tape leaving her father’s home in the 200 block of North Ynez Avenue at 5:30 p.m. Alison was on her GT mountain bike, heading to her aunt’s house in San Gabriel.

According to KLTA, Alison’s mother, Annie Chao, stated, “The more time that passes, the scarier it becomes. I’m scared the audience may lose interest, making it difficult to find her. “There is less proof.”

Alison is starting her junior year at Mark Keppel High School and is a straight-A student. She had never run away before. She hasn’t spoken to any pals or posted anything on social media.

Alison stands five feet and two inches tall and weighs 94 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

She was last spotted wearing a purple t-shirt, black shorts, and dark sneakers. She also carried a backpack.

The family has been posting fliers and canvassing the region in the hopes of finding her or obtaining information regarding her location.

“It’s been quite crazy,” Annie told ABC7. “It sounds weird, but we don’t have a play-by-play for this type of thing. What are you doing? As a parent, you’re preparing fliers, contacting the media, and we were out driving around to anyone who was open, placing flyers. “We reached out to the community.”

“The community has truly come together to assist me search for my little baby.”

Anyone with information should call Monterey Park Police at 626-573-1311.
