After Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots recently announced their separation after 24 years together, Tomlin, who will begin his 18th season, will hold the record for the longest tenured head coach in the NFL with the same franchise.

After the 2024 season, Tomlin’s contract will expire. Tomlin said he is sure he and team president Art Rooney II will work things out even though he has never started a season in the final year of his contract.
