Ronnie O’Sullivan Reveals What to do Next after retirement from Snooker

Although Ronnie O’Sullivan has made many suggestions that he would give up snooker, Tony Knowles has explained why “The Rocket” still playing the game.

The 48-year-old snooker prodigy is still at the peak of his game and hopes to win his seventh World Championship this year at the Crucible. Last year, he threatened to give up the game if he couldn’t travel to China frequently enough. He even considered playing eight-ball pool instead.

Even the former number two in the world, Tony Knowles, considered giving up before he officially hung up the cue in the early 2000s. He commended O’Sullivan and stated he understood the hardships he had faced throughout his career.

Knowles stated, “I think Ronnie has done amazing to come back because he went through a bad period,” on the BBC Frames podcast.

“I completely understand the period that he went through,” he went on. I believe that the only reason he’s recovered when I wasn’t is because we didn’t have any matches to play.

“He needs to genuinely recuperate after a lot of contests. having the ability to return and rebuild it. He’s now at a place where he’s content with it. He’s been in situations where he’s wanted to give up so many times. I’ve experienced that. of feeling uneasy.”
