Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Bryan Hudson Terminate Newly Signed Contract After Argument With Management

During Saturday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers, Rhys Hoskins and the New York Mets maintained their rivalry. When Mets infielder Jeff McNeil took offense with Hoskins sliding hard into him at second base during Friday’s season opener, tensions erupted. Hoskins and McNeil screamed at one another as both benches moved out.

The Brewers designated hitter responded forcefully to the altercation on Saturday, collecting hits in his first three at-bats, including a home run and four RBI.

After hitting a home run in the third inning, Hoskins went back to the Milwaukee dugout and gave McNeil the same “crybaby” gesture he had made on Friday.

The Mets seemed to have had enough of Hoskins by the time he made his fourth plate appearance in the seventh inning. Throwing behind Hoskins, reliever Yohan Ramirez launched his first pitch, a 94 mph fastball, as Hoskins moved to the pitching mound.
