Steelers and S DeShon Elliott agreed on a two-years deal worth $40.5million and a $5million signing bonus

A week after relocating to Pittsburgh, new Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson has started his offseason training camp.

After being cut by the Denver Broncos on Friday, Wilson signed a one-year, $1.2 million contract with the Steelers, ending his unhappy two-year stay with the team.

The burden is on the Super Bowl-winning quarterback to revive his career in Pittsburgh after falling short of expectations in Denver, where he was given a new five-year contract deal for $245 million just 19 months ago

In addition, he will face Justin Fields in the upcoming season since the Chicago Bears sold their previous first-round choice to the Steelers last week, as if the stakes weren’t already high enough for him.

Wilson, who has a big season ahead of him, posted a video of himself during practice on social media, which inspired him to begin working on his game in the offseason.

“Delight in the Work.” He wrote as the post’s caption, “The Best Is Ahead.”

In the video, Wilson can be seen working on his ball-handling agility before honing his throw and doing speed exercises.
