Great lost : I’m not coming back to Crystal Palace

Cheick Doucoure announced his plan of not returning to Crystal Palace the….

With Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze suffering from persistent injuries, Crystal Palace’s season has been a nightmare in terms of injuries.

Cheick Doucoure is the next person who has suffered significantly from injuries, followed by Marc Guehi, who has also been hurt fairly frequently.

Since his Achilles rupture in November’s 2-1 loss to Luton, Doucoure has been out and in need of emergency surgery.

Following the sharing of a potential update regarding his return, here is what we know.

The Malian midfield player has reportedly been receiving regular rehab treatment at Copers Cope for more than three weeks as he accelerates his recuperation from a ruptured Achilles tendon, according to Dom Smith of the Standard.

He reportedly follows a customized exercise regimen in an effort to increase his level of fitness.

The story goes on to say that, if everything goes according to plan, the 24-year-old might make a comeback in mid-May.

Doucoure’s comeback might occur at the ideal moment.

It could be preferable to return from such a significant injury by mid-May, when the season is almost over.

This is because it can present him with the opportunity to play a few cameo minutes in low-key games that are typical of the season’s conclusion.

Following this, Doucoure would spend more time in the summer off to recuperate and increase his level of fitness in preparation for a full preseason.

This may be how Doucoure returns to his peak performance to begin the 2024–2025 season.
