Gemma Pinto finally say yes to Marc Marquez

The MotoGP driver Marc Marquez has been transparent about the continued difficulties he faces with his right arm, which has required four surgeries following a serious injury in July 2020. Medical authorities have deemed Marquez functionally fit, although he admits that the arm needs special attention and limits his racing capabilities.

Marquez’s performance on the last day of testing at Losail, along with a subsequent collision, sparked questions about the constraints placed on his arm. The Gresini Ducati racer acknowledges that his preparation and riding style are affected because the operated arm requires more care than the other.

Marquez had contemplated retirement in 2022, but after his fourth surgery in the US, he had optimism again. After several mishaps and unsatisfactory outcomes during his time with Honda, he decided to transfer to Ducati in order to start again. “As I’ve always said, and I’m not lying, it’s an arm that requires more attention than the other,” Marquez says candidly about the extra attention his arm needs.
