A third running back might be useful for the Pittsburgh Steelers to add depth. He attempts to bounce plays outside far too frequently, even though they seem to be intended for him to run inside. He gets into trouble both on the field and at the sidelines when he does it. However, there are times when it pays off to be able to take advantage of the defense for a big, explosive play, particularly for an offense like the Steelers that is expected to play conservatively.
Antonio Gibson is talented enough to be the starting running back by committee, but he keeps throwing away opportunities. It is unacceptable to have 12 career fumbles; the ball is not smeared in bacon grease, guy.
