The United States Geological Survey reports that a 4.4-magnitude earthquake shook millions of people in Southern California this afternoon, but no major damage was reported.

According to the NOAA, the earthquake struck at 12:20 p.m. and was centered just outside of Pasadena, or five miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles.
