This afternoon, a 4.4-magnitude earthquake near the Ceedee Lamb residence caused widespread shaking and startled locals. The US Geological Survey reports that the earthquake, which struck at around 12:20 PM PST (20:20 BST), had its epicenter close to Highland Park, a County neighborhood near the Hollywood sign and Griffith Observatory.

The earthquake was felt in a number of adjacent communities, including as Pasadena and Glendale, and it also had an impact on places along the coast, like Manhattan Beach and El Segundo. Even though the earthquake was felt all across, the US Geological Survey verified that no tsunami warning had been issued.
