Denver Broncos Helmets Officially in Production for Colorado High Schools
Exciting news out of Ohio today, as the Denver Broncos’ initiative to support Colorado high school football programs took a major step forward. Helmets featuring the iconic Broncos branding are officially in production at the Riddell factory, where some of the very first units were assembled.
Broncos Owner and Foundation Board Chair Carrie Walton Penner, along with Riddell Ambassador and NFL legend Peyton Manning, made a special visit to the Riddell facility to witness the milestone firsthand. The visit highlighted the collaborative effort between the Broncos and Riddell to ensure student-athletes across Colorado have access to high-quality, safe equipment.
This helmet initiative is part of a broader push by the Broncos Foundation to invest in youth sports and foster the next generation of football talent. By providing customized, professionally manufactured helmets to Colorado high schools, the team is ensuring that safety, pride, and community support are prioritized on and off the field.
Seeing Peyton Manning—one of the most respected names in football—on-site added extra excitement to the day. Manning, who has long been an advocate for youth sports and education, praised the program’s focus on safety and community involvement.
“Being here to see the first helmets roll off the line is special,” Manning said. “This is about more than gear—it’s about giving these kids the confidence and protection they need to play the game they love.”
With production now underway, schools across Colorado can expect to receive their Broncos-themed helmets in the coming weeks, marking the beginning of a new era for high school football in the state—one where NFL-level support meets hometown pride.
