Former Georgia Bulldogs Head Coach Mark Richt Sends Heartfelt Message to Dawgs
In a surprise move, former Georgia Bulldogs head coach Mark Richt, now at the helm of the Miami Hurricanes, has sent a heartfelt message to his former team and fans.
Richt, who spent 15 seasons as the head coach of the Bulldogs from 2001 to 2015, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the time he spent in Athens. In a statement released on social media, Richt said:

Richt, who led the Bulldogs to two SEC championships and six bowl victories during his tenure, went on to say:

Now in his sixth season as the head coach of the Miami Hurricanes, Richt acknowledged the special bond he still shares with the Bulldog Nation:
“Even though I’m now proud to be a part of the Miami Hurricanes family, my heart will always have a special place for the Georgia Bulldogs. I’m grateful for the support and love I received during my time in Athens, and I look forward to continuing to follow the program’s success in the years to come.”
