Alvin Kamara’s Speech:
“It’s my pleasure to be here today with all of you. To be honest, every opportunity to speak in front of a group like this feels like a privilege, and I don’t take it lightly. A lot of people ask me what drives me—why I’ve chosen football as my path. And the answer is simple: it’s not the money, the fame, or the recognition. It’s the passion.
When I first picked up a football, it wasn’t because I saw dollar signs or dreamed of endorsements. It was because I loved the game, the challenge, the competition. Football gave me a chance to push myself beyond my limits, to test my abilities, and to find a way to get better every single day. The joy that comes from making a big play, from seeing your teammates thrive, from winning as a team—those are the moments that drive me.
Sure, the financial side comes with the territory of being a professional athlete, but that’s never been my focus. I’m not here for the spotlight or the paycheck. I play because I have a deep love for the game. Every time I step onto the field, I remind myself that this is a gift. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to do what I love, and I never want to take that for granted.
Football has taught me so much—not just about the game itself, but about life. It’s about hard work, resilience, and staying true to who you are. I want to inspire others to find what they’re passionate about and pursue it relentlessly. Whether it’s football or something else, when you follow your heart, success comes in ways you never expect.
Thank you for listening, and remember: passion is the key to everything.”
