The latest GMC model approved for the upcoming rod run is the 2024 GMC Sierra, particularly the Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) GMC Sierra Sport Edition.
This model is available in both off-road and lowered versions and features a powerful supercharged engine, with options for 700 or 800 horsepower depending on the configuration. It boasts advanced technology, including a patent-pending boost-by-wire control system, providing drivers with better control over the supercharger’s boost.
Additionally, the 2024 GMC Sierra HD has received updates, including a more powerful 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel engine with 470 horsepower and 975 lb-ft of torque, a new 10-speed automatic transmission, and innovative towing features like the “Transparent Trailer View” for enhanced visibility while towing. The Sierra also offers new trims such as the luxury-focused Denali Ultimate and the off-road-oriented AT4X, both enhancing the truck’s appeal to different audiences
