SAD NEWS: UNC football head coach Mack Brown is dead…..

Earlier today, the revered legend of college football, Brown, passed away, leaving behind a legacy that will be immortalized in sports history.

Throughout his illustrious career, Mack Brown, 72 years old, was a father figure, leader, mentor, and coach for many young athletes. In addition to the football field, his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to excellence had a lasting impact on the lives of coaches, players, and fans.

Brown’s career was marked by many accomplishments, one of which was leading the Texas Longhorns to a national championship in 2005. He demonstrated once again his capacity to revitalize and inspire a football program when he returned to UNC in 2019, marking a new chapter in his storied career. The Tar Heels gained admiration and respect from their peers as a powerful force in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) under his leadership.

Brown’s integrity and devotion to the game went above and beyond the X’s and O’s.
