Noah Lyles has terminated his contract as they welcomed home Letsile Tebogo following his 100m victory at the Paris Olympics.
Following Letsile Tebogo’s 200-meter Olympic victory in Paris, Noah Lyles announced the termination of his contract.
After Tebogo defeated Lyles to finish third in Paris on Tuesday, the nation’s first-ever Olympic gold medal was awarded to him in front of tens of thousands of people in the capital, Gaborone.
Unfortunately, Lyles ended up in a wheelchair close to the finish line, defeating his hopes of completing the 100-200m double.
It did not stop people from mocking the American even after it became apparent that he had Covid.
A man wearing Botswana clothing and bearing Tebogo’s name was seen pushing a man in a wheelchair in a video that went viral on social media on Tuesday.
