All 61 individuals aboard aircraft 2283—57 passengers and the four members of the flying crew—died, according to USA Today. The presence of Raven Saunder among the passengers on the flight has been verified by numerous accounts.
NPC News Online reports that Raven participated in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. She finished third in the Open Class C group and second in the Novice A category.
Raven handled her apparel company, Lookfit Moda Fitness, as CEO and owner in addition to her competitive career. She was also sponsored by Dragon Pharma, a supplement company.
Several other professionals left comments and condolences on posts on the demise of Raven. She is the most recent of a string of deaths that have struck the bodybuilding community in 2024, including those of Kevin Gebhardt, NPC bodybuilder Daniel Broadhurst, Figure Pro Cintia Goldani, and Men’s Open pros Kristoffer Berner and Doug Fruchey.
