Max Verstappen has been warned by management with Red Bull starlet ready to replace Sergio Perez…

Red Bull management is said to have warned reigning Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen about the possibility of internal changes inside the organization. This warning coincides with mounting rumors that Verstappen’s current teammate, Sergio Perez, may be replaced with a young talent from the Red Bull junior program if his play does not improve.

Because of his uneven performance this season—especially in light of Verstappen’s dominance—Sergio Perez has come under more and more criticism. Even though Perez has had his moments, Red Bull has been debating his future because he hasn’t been able to continuously keep up with Verstappen’s pace. It’s thought that management is looking into ways to stay ahead of the competition, such as elevating a young driver from their development program.

Formula 2 star Liam Lawson is one of the strongest contenders for this possible promotion. Red Bull has a track record of developing young players into the starting lineup, a tactic that has paid off in the past, most notably with the recruitment of Verstappen, who joined the organization as a teenager. For Verstappen, the prospect of a new, driven partner might bring both opportunity and challenge.

Verstappen, who is renowned for his tenacity and competitive nature, would probably be under more pressure from a younger colleague who is anxious to succeed. Verstappen might be motivated by this to push himself even farther, though, like he did during his bitter battle with former colleague Daniel Ricciardo.

The management’s warning highlights the seriousness of the situation at Red Bull, where output is critical. Perez will have to maintain his position throughout the season in order to keep his job since there is a young driver who is very driven and ready to take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself.
