Love was selected by Green Bay in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and Rodgers publicly backed him even before he was traded to the New York Jets over the summer. Together, the two played for three seasons, with Rodgers starting at quarterback.

Prior to his trade to the New York Jets during the offseason, Rodgers openly backed Love, who Green Bay selected in the first round of the 2020 selection. Rodgers was the starting quarterback during their three seasons together.
