At the age of two, we adopted our daughter, Adria. She is currently 47 years old. As a newborn, Adria lived with us occasionally, but by the time she turned one, she was a constant resident. Since our town is small, everyone is acquainted with one another. Before being adopted, Adria lived with her biological mother.
We made an effort to establish guidelines so that they may interact with one another. At a sibling’s celebration, Adria was recently allowed to spend two hours with her biological mother. Adria was left off at her house after requesting to return. She is her true mother, as her biological mother informed her after she gave birth, I later learned.

Opal was never made aware of the adoption. We talk about it in a non-harmful and negative manner. Opal has become needy again after this and thinks about that talk when she wakes up. How do I talk to our daughter and her biological mother about this? — ACTUALLY MOM IN KY
