The Pigeon Forge Police Department reports that during the July 26–27 Spring Rod Run auto event, more than 600 citations were issued and 36 people were taken into custody.
Pigeon Forge subleasethe spaces to companies to maintain them after leasing the state’s right of way for more parking at establishments. The recent deal with the state of Tennessee further restricts what can be done for profit on these areas.
Over 600 tickets were given at the Spring Rod Run automobile event.
The agency also disclosed that 623 citations and 36 arrests were made, leading to 48 charges. While there were fewer arrests than there were during the Fall 2023 Rod Run, there were more than twice as many citations. There were 283 warnings given at the event this spring as well.
