One individual was hospitalized following an accident involving a race car hauler in Delaware Township, Pennsylvania, over the weekend.

The incident took place at 4 p.m. on July 20 on Route 322 W.

Firefighters arrived at the scene to find a Zemco Racing hauler overturned on the highway.

Rescue teams successfully removed the racing fuel from the trailer without any complications.

One person was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries.

Sprint car driver Chase Dietz shared a statement:

β€œJust wanted to let everyone know that the Zemco Racing team is okay after last night’s accident. The guys involved are safe and home. It was a scary situation for all, but nobody was seriously hurt. Thank you to the emergency response folks that responded to the accident. Also, a big thank you to Tj and Reece Stutts for bringing their trailer down to help us out. Our racing family is awesome. We appreciate everyone reaching out.”
