Additionally, Liberty Media has tracking groups for its investments in LiveNation, an event ticketing company, and Formula One that are publicly listed.
A request for comment from Reuters was not immediately answered by Liberty Media or Dorna Sports.
According to Sky News, which cited a single source, London-listed Bridgepoint, which holds about 40% of Dorna, is attempting to complete the transaction in a few weeks.
