Max Verstappen claims that when talking about their upcoming Austrian Grand Prix clash this week, he and Lando Norris “agreed with 99% of everything.”
The two will square off again this weekend at the British Grand Prix after colliding on Sunday while battling for the lead at the Red Bull Ring.
It was disclosed by Verstappen that he “cared about maintaining his relationship” with Norris since “we are great friends”.
The world champion claimed to have assured the McLaren driver during their conversation this week that they could rely on one another in close race.
Verstappen continued, saying, “We made the decision to go after it head-on. We enjoy doing that, and it’s beneficial for Formula One as well.”
