Red Bull team manager Christian Horner has made it plain that Max Verstappen will have to accept a power unit penalty, just like his colleague Sergio Perez, now that the season is halfway through.

Verstappen has used up all six of his components and is about to receive a penalty. Any additional element installed beyond the allotted amount will result in a 10-place grid penalty; replacements after that will result in five-place fines apiece.

Now that the season is halfway through, Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has stated unequivocally that Max Verstappen will have to accept a power unit penalty, much like his teammate Sergio Perez.

Verstappen is about to receive a punishment because he has used up all six of his components. Any additional element installed over the limit will result in a grid penalty of ten places, and any more replacements will result in penalties of five places apiece.
