Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of USA Track & Field Max Siegel Announce His Resignation And Explain His Decision.

I am writing today to announce my decision to step down as Chief Executive Officer of USA Track & Field, effective immediately. This decision has not come easily, but after much reflection and discussion with my family and colleagues, I believe it is the right time for me to transition to the next chapter of my professional journey.

Serving as CEO of USA Track & Field for the past decade has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. During this time, we have made significant strides in promoting and developing the sport of track and field across the United States. We have seen our athletes achieve extraordinary success on the international stage, enhanced our organizational infrastructure, and expanded our outreach to young athletes and communities nationwide.

However, I believe that change is necessary for continued growth and innovation. As we look ahead to the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris and beyond, fresh leadership will bring new perspectives and ideas that will further elevate our organization and our sport. I am confident that USA Track & Field is in a strong position to continue its trajectory of excellence.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the board of directors, our dedicated staff, the athletes, and our loyal supporters. Your commitment and passion have been instrumental in our accomplishments. I am proud of what we have achieved together and look forward to cheering on the future successes of USA Track & Field.
