Pittsburgh The Pittsburgh Steelers have emerged as one of the most talked-about teams in football in the days after the full 2024 NFL schedule was released. They have one of the hardest schedules in all of professional football, and according to one analyst, a particularly challenging second half of the schedule may result in some significant adjustments.
If things don’t work out for the Steelers late in the regular season, Cowherd even went so far as to imply that Tomlin, who has coached the team his whole career, will depart to become a broadcaster.
In his 17 seasons leading the Pittsburgh Steelers, Mike Tomlin has never experienced a losing season; however, it is not yet known if he will return for an 18th.
The Steelers’ sixth straight season without a postseason victory came to an end during Super Wild Card Weekend when they were defeated by the Buffalo Bills. They haven’t won the championship since Tomlin won his only ring in his second season in 2008, haven’t made it to the AFC Championship Game since 2016, and haven’t made it to the Super Bowl since 2010.
