After a strong storm that slammed the Houston area on Thursday night and caused extensive damage, the Astros and Brewers have decided to play their scheduled game at Minute Maid Park on Friday night. The Astros claim that while some buildings in the downtown area sustained damage, Minute Maid Park’s facade only sustained minor cosmetic damage.

The Astros urged fans planning to attend Friday’s game “to exercise caution as they travel downtown as cleanup efforts are in full effect” in a social media statement.

Additionally, the club is advising supporters to “use the nearest highways for safest travel routes.”

Kyle Tucker wore an arc three times, going from the Astros dugout to the left-handed batter’s box and back. In his first two at-batches on Sunday, Brewers starter Colin Rea froze him with backdoor cutters for called third strikes. In the next inning, Tucker recorded his third strikeout of the game by chasing a wide fastball.
