At Oracle Park tonight, the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers will conclude this series.
Logan Webb, a right-hander, will start for the Giants tonight. He has a 3.38 ERA, 2.90 FIP, and 42 strikeouts against 14 walks in 53.1 innings thrown. In the Giants’ 4-2 loss to the Cincinnati Reds on Friday, he gave up three runs (two earned) on eight hits in seven innings while striking out six and walking two. It was his last start of the season.
Elieser Hernández, a right-hander for the Dodgers, will be his opponent. Hernández was a late scratch from the Dodgers’ Triple-A Oklahoma City affiliate, which is conveniently playing tonight in Sacramento. Rather, he will be making both his first MLB start and his first start for the Dodgers.
