Miami football offensive Line have Speaks About stepping Down his Career Due To Multiple Reports.
Expect a lot of movement on the Miami football roster when the spring transfer portal opens on Tuesday and runs until April 30. Miami is now five players over the roster limit. That includes the 2024 signees, who will arrive later this year. There are several positions worth keeping an eye on in the Miami portal.
Quarterback Jacurri Brown will be the most visible player on the Miami squad that could join the transfer portal. Brown was the fourth quarterback to enter the Miami spring game. Brown was preceded by starter Cam Ward, backups Reese Poffenbarger, and Emory Williams. Brown denied that he was transferring on Monday.
Running back is a position that most expect Miami to seek via the transfer portal. There is no certainty that Miami’s returning leading rusher, Mark Fletcher, will be ready for the season opener. Henry Parrish, who led Miami in rushing the previous two seasons, has entered the transfer portal.
There has been conjecture that Miami will look to sign a starter wide receiver. Miami returns Xavier Restrepo and Jacolby George, the two top receivers from last season, but there is little experience behind them. Isaiah Horton and true freshman JoJo Trader have allegedly been standouts this spring.
Fifth-Year-Redshirt Junior Michael Redding III is a player worth keeping an eye on at Miami. During his four seasons at Miami, Redding appeared in only 26 games and recorded 19 receptions for 239 yards and two scores. Shemar Kirk, RayRay Joseph, and Robby Washington are the only other returning wide receivers on the Miami roster.
