Dallas Cowboys Has finally Signed Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff on a 2-years contract worth $56 million

With the NFL Draft beginning in less than two weeks, the 2024 Dallas Cowboys draft class will be determined. For many teams, including the Cowboys, this is the largest offseason event. After passing on players of their own and missing out on innumerable free agents, they require an infusion of talent. Dallas needs additional depth players on the field as well as fresh starts at various positions.

But as the squad prepares for the draft, they have one significant problem.

At best, the Cowboys’ draft capital is little.

Dallas will only select three players in the first 173 choices since they will not be selecting their fourth-round pick from the Trey Lance deal. The Cowboys only have three selections in the top 100, and those 24th, 56th, and 87th spots represent the draft’s pinnacle. In the latter rounds, they hold a fifth, sixth, and two seventh-round picks. But after moving up in the previous round to get Eric Scott Jr., a cornerback, they are now without a fifth pick.

This is a big problem for the Cowboys’ prospects of getting the necessary draft class. As a result, many have urged the team to either utilize one of the later-round selections to acquire a low-cost veteran, similar to what the organization did with the deals of Stephon Gilmore and Brandin Cooks, or make a trade-back to gather additional draft-day assets.

Dallas needs trading partners to do this.
