The potential lineup changes for the Warriors due to Thompsons absence.
Klay Thompson and Steph Curry are widely recognized as one of the best NBA backcourts of all time, having broken records and won championships together for more than a decade.
And, while Curry has always praised his teammate Splash Bro’s jump shot, Thompson’s recent interview on “The Draymond Green Show” revealed what he admires most about the 3-point king’s jumper.
“I think it’s like the force that [Curry] generates,” Thompson told Green. “I suppose Steph’s about a buck-90 or 200 [pounds]… How can you fire from 35 feet with such accuracy and ease? I believe it comes from the legs, yet he is really strong. And how rapidly he packs his jumper.
“That’s what I admire: his ability to shoot from various angles and foot placements. As long as Steph’s shoulders are square to the basket, it has a chance to go in, and that’s where I’m most pleased with him… how quickly he gets it off.”
Curry and Thompson are regarded as two of the best shooters in NBA history, with Curry holding the league’s all-time 3-point record and Thompson having made the most 3-pointers in a single game. Despite his adoration for Curry’s jump shot, Thompson will never forget the occasion when he outperformed his sharpshooting colleague in the jumper category.
“One thing I have on Steph, though—probably one of the best moments.
