Atlanta Hawks Head Coach Quin Snyder Terminates Contract with team after Argument with Management
The Los Angeles Lakers are now putting all of their attention on figuring out how to climb the Western Conference rankings and stay out of the NBA Play-In Tournament. They are still in ninth position despite their recent hot streak, but they are still very much in the running to climb higher.
Even though the players and coaching staff are concentrating on that, others have already started thinking about the 2024 NBA summer. NBA speculations regarding the Lakers’ potential summer plans are already circulating, even though the regular season isn’t yet ended.
An NBA executive told NBA Analysis Network that the Lakers are working on a major project. They are going to put everything on the line in an effort to sign an All-Star, with the Atlanta Hawks’ Trae Young as their top target.
“This offseason, LeBron James wants the front office to step it up.” To be a contender for the title, the existing roster has to be changed. Rob Pelinka would stop at nothing to attract Trae Young to Los Angeles, as far as I’ve been informed,” the executive stated.
It’s possible that Young will be made available over the offseason. Whether it’s him or Dejounte Murray, the Hawks are anticipated to trade for at least one of their top guards. Between the two, Young is
Young’s offensive effect would be somewhat similar to Kyrie Irving’s, even if they are not on the same level. Being able to lead the offensive burden on his own, Young would assist in filling in for LeBron James or Anthony Davis during their absences from the court.
Young seems like a fantastic match to go along with James on paper. However, despite what his profile would imply, he is not a very excellent spot-up shooter. In addition, Young needs the ball in his hands in order to perform at his highest level. Will the Lakers provide him with enough opportunities to do so as long as James and Davis are around?
