Finally Tom Brady’s $6.2 Billion Contract agreement with the LA Raiders Now Approved by Raiders owner Mark Davis…

Tom Brady, the minority owner of Birmingham City, is pressing forward with his plans to purchase a part in the Las Vegas Raiders.

According to Forbes, the professional American football team is worth roughly $6.2 billion (£4.9 billion). Brady has long been interested in the team. The NFL star wants to invest in the sport he dominated as a player, joining the boardroom as a prominent figure.

Brady reached an agreement with the LA Raiders in May 2023 but there’s been a significant delay in approving the deal, with a membership vote still required. Originally set to occur in October last year, the referendum is now set for this May.

Although still not rubber-stamped, there’s been a positive update from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. “I wouldn’t say there’s been a delay, we just go through a very thorough process,” Goodell said at the NFL’s annual league meet.

Raiders owner Mark Davis is sure that Brady will eventually acquire his interest. “We are pleased for Tom to join the Raiders. “It’s exciting because he’ll be only the third player in NFL history to become an owner,” Davis told ESPN.

If and when Brady becomes a Raiders shareholder, his Birmingham responsibilities will be unaffected. Brady was appointed chairman of the club advisory board in August and will continue in that position. He’ll simply have a busier schedule than usual, with more to do in the United States.
