Wide receiver Stefon Diggs of the Buffalo Bills may be a trade candidate after expressing dissatisfaction with his current squad.
If you’ve heard this before, stop me: Trade speculations are circulating around Stefon Diggs. One of the greatest receivers of his era, the former First-Team All-Pro assisted Josh Allen in becoming one of the league’s top quarterbacks. However, the wide receiver has openly expressed his frustration with the team after a string of swift postseason exits, and he has made several allusions to transfer demands.
His diminishing contribution to the offensive is another reason for the annoyance. As the 2023 season went on, Stefon Diggs, the trade target, became less valuable despite being the team’s main focus point early on. In the season’s last eight games, the four-time Pro Bowler caught just 37 passes for 349 yards and one touchdown. There’s a chance Diggs will continue to play a less important role now that Joe Brady, the offensive coordinator in transition, has taken the permanent position.
Because of everything said above, Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report ranked Stefon Diggs first in a recent piece. Is Diggs finally headed out of town as he leads the core six guys Davenport thinks should be traded?
A possible trade target has been identified as Stefon Diggs.
It’s important to note that Davenport’s piece discusses players that ought to be dealt but most likely won’t be. Stefon Diggs has performance and attitude issues, as the story notes, but the Bills don’t appear willing to deal him.
