Jayvan Boggs, a four-star wide receiver, decommitted from Ohio State on Tuesday. The 6-foot, 200-pound wide receiver from Cocoa, Florida committed to Ohio State in October.
Boggs is the 212th overall prospect and 26th wide receiver in the 2025 class. According to the On3 industry rankings, he is Florida’s eighth-best wide receiver and 32nd-best player.
Last season, he led Cocoa High School to the 2S state championship and was named second-team MaxPreps Junior All-American. Boggs concluded the season with 93 receptions, 1,493 yards, and 23 touchdowns.
Boggs had a breakout sophomore season in 2022, totaling 722 receiving yards and six touchdowns. He was Cocoa’s second-leading receiver and helped the team win the 2M state championship.
Boggs’ recruiting targets include Florida, Miami, and UCF.
Following Boggs’ decommitment, Ohio State’s 2025 recruiting class remains No. 1 nationally and in the Big Ten. Five-star recruits Na’eem Offord, Devin Sanchez, and Tavien St. Clair have committed to the Buckeyes.
